They are statutory services, which mean there has to be one in every local authority. SEND IASS were previously known as Parent Partnership, the name changed when the range of people the service is for expanded to include children and young people from 0-25. SEND IASS also covers other issues related to special educational needs/disability (SEND) such as health and social care issues. Liverpool and Knowsley SEND IASS is a new combined service for residents of Liverpool and Knowsley and is delivered by WIRED. WIRED has an excellent record of providing high quality services for children, young people, parents and carers in Wirral, Warrington and other areas.
We believe in the Millennials and Post-Millennials who are working hard each day to make a difference in the world. All of these young people have the extraordinary capacity to become pioneers, innovators, and entrepreneurs. Each of them has a story to tell and knowledge to share. It is our mission to help them share their journeys with the rest of the world.
