Call Me For Help
A new emergency contact label I have created that could potentially save lives and help thousands of vulnerable people across the country.
I thought of the idea after a recent experience. I was contacted by one of my neighbours who has dementia - her husband would not get out of bed and she didnt know what to do. Sadly, he had passed away and unfortunately, we really struggled to find contact details of his daughters, who we obviously wanted to get in touch with urgently.
After this sad experience, I was thinking about ways that I could potentially help to cut down the time it takes to contact next of kin or close friends and family when an elderly or vulnerable person was in need. This is where I created Call me for help.
With a quick scan of a QR code that is placed on a front door, or somewhere else that is easy to locate, a neighbour, a member of the Emergency Services or even a Post Person can access contact details of the people would be concerned
