Kya Publishing, founded in 2007 by Stacey Marie Robinson, is an independent Toronto-based boutique publishing and communications company that is committed to the promotion and celebration of urban Canadian books and culture. We are the creators of the Journal of Canadian Urban Fiction, the Toronto Urban Book Expo, and the Kya Keys Book Donation Program. Kya Publishing also offers writing and editing services, communications consulting, and publishing assistance in support of Canadian Urban Fiction, writers, and culture.
Kya Publishing has nine books currently in print including the novel Carnival Spotlight, and the eight novels of the Urban Toronto Tales collection: Video Light, Request to Rewind, the Hook Up, Friends with Benefits, The Way We Used to Be, First Year, I Wish I Never Met Him and Eighteen which are available online, via Amazon, and in circulation at the Toronto Public Library.
